Buckeyes – OHIO State Treats

1 stick of butter—1/2 cup
1 1/2 cups of plain peanut butter
3 1/2 cups of powdered sugar
1 bag chocolate discs
  1. In a mixer cream the softened butter and peanut butter until smooth.
  2. Add the powdered sugar 1 cup at a time until mixed.
  3. Roll into balls and freeze until firm.
  4. Melt chocolate discs according to the package, take out peanut butter balls little at a time and dip into the chocolate with a toothpick at one end.
  5. Place on cookie sheet or into little paper liners. After it sets take your finger to smooth top where the toothpick was at.
  6. Refrigerate until you’re ready to go.
